Abstract

In this paper we present some theoretical results, without proofs, concerning a recently introduced class of models, the so-called Generalized Orthonormal Basis Functions Models. These models are IIR models with a constrained structure, and include the FIR models as a special case. Our main objectives are to derive the lattice form of these models, and to present the stationarity conditions of their mean squared error surface with respect to the position of its poles.
