Im currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Aveiro.

I finished my PhD in Industrial Management in 2011, received my MSc degree in Operations Management in 2005, and graduated in Industrial Engineering and Management in 2002, all from the University of Aveiro.

I've been lecturing in Industrial Engineering and Management since 2005 and was an Information Technology consultant between 2003 and 2007.

I'm currently a researcher (full member) at the research unit Center for Research & Development in Mathematics and Applications (CIDMA) from the University of Aveiro. My current research interests lie primarily in Operations Research (namely heuristic approaches for location, routing and location-routing problems) and Decision Support Systems.

I have successfully supervised MSc and PhD students coming from various countries, culture, color and gender.
