   I am playing with networks

Our world has a network construction. Networks are everywhere: cellular networks, the Internet, the Web, social and economics networks. All these networks are extremely compact, infinite-dimensional objects with complex architectures. The questions are:
  • How are the networks organized?
  • How do these complex architectures emerge? How do networks evolve?
  • What is special about processes taking place on the complex networks?
  • How to design an optimal network?

This text is a very concise modern introduction to the science of networks. My aim is to introduce a reader without serious background in mathematics or physics to the world of networks. The book contains discussion of recent results.
