HOW TO ARRIVE TO AVEIRO

At Oporto Airport you can take a taxi to the main railway station Campanhã in Oporto or the metro, direction Estádio do Dragão (Line E). The taxi fare is about 25 euros while the metro fare (Z4) is about 2,60 euros (card Andante Azul, re-chargeable).
From the station Campanhã there are different types of trains to Aveiro, cheap local trains (Suburbanos, fare around 3,55 (urbano) - 6,50 (regional) euros), which depart every hour and need one hour to arrive in Aveiro, and more expensive fast trains (Intercidades (IC) or Alfa, fare around 12,20 – 15,10 euros).
FROM LISBON AIRPORT TO AVEIRO
If you arrive at Lisbon Airport you can take a taxi to the train station Gare do Oriente (fare around 10 euros) or the new metro connection (Red Line, card Bilhete Carris/Metro, non-chargeable, fare 1,5 euros), and from there a train to Aveiro. The fastest (and recommended) trains are the Intercidades (IC) and Alfa services with fares of about 21,10 - 27,70 euros. The journey to Aveiro takes about 2h30min.
