Organisation of a study tour involving visits to Portuguese institutions by the Deputy Governor of central bank of Slovenia and the Secretary of the State of Finance. With Jorge Braga de Macedo. 	Belarus - Economic Trends (European Expertise Service, TACIS - European Commission). Technical Assistance to the Government of the republic of Belarus. The main purpose of the project was to produce monthly bulletins with statistical data and economic analysis. Visits to the country involved regular meetings with senior Government officers and technical assistance to local staff . Junho 1996-Novembro 1998. 	Azerbaijan – Advice on the State Programme of Industrial Policy (European Expertise Service, TACIS - European Commission): Advice to the Ministry of Economy in developing a strategy for a medium-term industrial policy within the construction of the overall development plan. 	Anghotel - Anghotel – Evaluation, terms of reference and regulation (United Nations and SND - Sociedade Nacional de Desenvolvimento). I participated, as economist, in a team of experts designed to evaluate seven hotels owned by the state of Angola for further privatisation. Missons to Luanda, Lobito, Huambo, Benguela and Lubango. Jan/April 1992.
	Economic Integration in the Enlarged European Community (C.E.P.R. - Centre for Economic Policy and Research and I.C.E.P – Instituto do Comércio Externo Português. Direction: Cristother Bliss and Jorge Braga de Macedo. I wrote two Background Papers on the Portuguese macroeconomic adjustment. The proceedings of the concluding conference, that took place in the European Cultural Centre at Delphi on October 1989 were published in Unity with Diversity in the European Economy: The Community's Southern Frontier, edited by Christopher Bliss and Jorge Braga de Macedo, Cambridge UK: Cambridge University Press, 1990.
