He is a lecturer at the Department of Social, Juridical and Political Sciences of the University of Aveiro. He has a degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a MsC in Innovation and Regional Development Policies.
In 1998, he joined the research group CEIDET- Centre for Studies in Innovation and Territorial and Industrial Dynamics. His research activities include the preparation of regional and local development strategies; the econometric evaluation of environmental policies and policy studies related to higher education.
Current research is focused on GIS applications to urban housing policy, in order to study of the location patterns of households in the urban areas. |
