to my home page. Here you will find some information about my research, teaching activities and professional
experience. My research
interests include international macroeconomics, economic development, the
Portuguese Economy and Time Series Econometrics. Currently, I am at Universidade de Aveiro.
As part of my professional experience, I
worked as a Director at the Gabinete de Estratégia e Estudos of
the Ministry of Economy and Innovation, as a consultant at Banco de Portugal and in
different short term projects supported by international donors and institutions,
including the European Comission, the United
Nations and the CEPR. You'll find some information on my
experience with former centrally planned economies in my transition
page. I enjoy writing on
economic policy in different forms, including non-technical articles. For
