1. Evaluator of final reports to research projects
·
In March 2004: invited to join the Panel of the
Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) to evaluate final reports of
scientific research projects funded by FCT started in 2000 and in 2001.
·
In April 2010: invited to join the Panel to Assess
the FCT Final reports of research projects in mathematics (PPCDT - Phase II and
PDCT POCI), ended in 2008/2009.
·
Since November 2010: invited to join the Panel of FCT for
the Assessment of Final Reports of scientific research projects in mathematics
started in 2006.
2 Evaluator of grant applications for the following national and
international agencies:
·
The National University and Research Council (CNCSIS) of
Romania: registered expert since 2005 and had evaluated several grant
applications;
·
The Slovak Research and Development Agency,
Bratislava, Slovakia: evaluated applications for grants, since 2006).
·
The Foundation for Polish Science, Warsaw,
Poland: evaluated several applications for grants, since 2008;
·
The Georgia National Science Foundation (GNSF), Tbilisi, Georgia (peer-reviewer of the project proposals since 2009)
·
The GRICES - INVOTAN Agency, Lisbon,
Portugal: evaluated several applications for research grants since 1996.
·
European commission 6th and 7th research framework
programs of the European Commission (registered expert since 2003)
·
The Education Audio-visual Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission: admitted as expert for
Erasmus Mundus, Tempus, and Eurydice programs.
·
The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), Portugal:
o
May 2009 and June
2010: invited to join the panels to assess the FCT Competitions for Ph. D.
Grants under the Programme PROTEC;
o
Since January 2011: evaluated grant applications under the bilateral
agreements of FCT with other countries as Italy and France.

For COST Association (supported by EU Framework Program Horizon 2020, Brussels, Belgium),
evaluated proposals of research in mathematics, for the Open Call OC-2016-2
during January-February 2017, and is evaluating proposals of research in
mathematics Open Call OC-2022-1.
· Since August 2018 is a member of REPRISE (Register of
Expert Peer-Reviewers for Italian Scientific Evaluation), invited by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) and
evaluated research projects submitted to the national
competition PRIN2017 and projects submitted to the program “FIL – Quota
incetivante” by faculties of the University of Parma, June 2019.
