I am Professor Catedrático (Professor) at the Departamento de Electrónica, Telecomunicações e Informática, University of Aveiro, Portugal. I am an Associate Editor of IEEE Signal Processing Letters and Sampling Theory in Signal and Image Analysis and a past Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing and other journals.
