The Thin Film and Photovoltaic
Research Laboratory (TFPV) is
a sub-group of the Physics of Advanced
Materials and Devices
(PAMD) research group, which
in turn is part of the Aveiro’s branch of the Portuguese Associated
Laboratory: Instituto de Nanoestruturas,
Nanomodelação e Nanofabricação
(i3N) in the department of physics, University
of Aveiro, Portugal. The research in
the TFPV laboratory has been focused on the development of Thin
Film Solar Cells based
on CIGS, CZTS and Dye Sensitized Solar Cells. The research in
the laboratory is, currently, branching out into thin film solid state Li
ion batteries.
